Nendoroid Miss Monochrome also Comes in 2 versions

Nendoroid Miss Monochrome

As you might have known, there are two versions of Nendoroid Miss Monochrome, and the first one is the normal Miss Monochrome wearing her usual white outfit.

“I want to be in the spotlight!”
From the anime series ‘Miss Monochrome -The Animation-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the android aspiring to be a popular idol, Miss Monochrome! Monochrome’s close family member ‘Ru-chan’ as well as alkaline batteries and a battery box to keep her powered are all included as optional parts.
A winking expression is also included to recreate the popular dance scene from the ending theme. The Nendoroid box seen in the anime is also included, allowing Miss Monochrome to take pride in her accomplishment of becoming a Nendoroid!

She is priced at 3704 Yen and will be released on August 2014.

Meanwhile, the other version is called as Nendoroid Miss Monochrome: Poker Face Black version.

A Nendoroid of Miss Monochrome alternate colors from the ending theme!
From the anime series ‘Miss Monochrome -The Animation- comes a Nendoroid of the alternate color version of Miss Monochrome from the anime’s ending theme! This product will only be purchasable by those who purchase the limited first edition of both the ‘Miss Monochrome – The Animation’ Blu-ray & DVD Black and White versions. Inside you will find a special purchase ticket and application sheet which can be used to apply to purchase Nendoroid Miss Monochrome: Poker Face Black ver.
Monochrome’s close family member ‘Ru-chan’ as well as alkaline batteries and a battery box to keep her powered are all included as optional parts. If you pose her together with the standard Nendoroid Miss Monochrome you can also recreate the dance scene from the ending theme! Please see the Miss Monochrome official website for more information./

Aside of the color theme, the only differences between this one and the normal one are:

  • The battery: Mangan (normal) vs Alkaline (Poker Face Black version)
  • The miniature Nendoroid box: #4696 (normal) vs #9646 (Poker Face Black version)
  • Release date: August 2014 (normal) vs September 2014 (Poker Face Black version)
  • How to get it – preorder (normal) vs application ticket (Poket Face Black version)

Yep, compared to the normal one, the Black version seems to be much harder more complicated to get. Here is the procedure to purchase this Nendoroid:

  1. Purchase the limited first edition of both the ‘Miss Monochrome – The Animation’ Blu-ray & DVD Black and White versions.
  2. Inside you will find a special purchase ticket and application sheet.
  3. Use those to apply to purchase Nendoroid Miss Monochrome: Poker Face Black version.

Seems simple but it costs a lot more than the normal one. XD

Nendoroid Miss Monochrome: Poker Face Black version Will be Bundled with the Anime DVD/Blu-ray?

Nendoroid Miss Monochrome: Poker Face Black version

Yes, Miss Monochrome‘s dream to become a Nendoroid has already been fulfilled in the Winter WonFes last Sunday. However it seems that she will have two versions: the normal white-colored version and the black one, under the name: Nendoroid Miss Monochrome: Poker Black version.

Looking at the info board, I guess the Nendoroid will be bundled with either (or both) of the Blu-ray and DVD of the Miss Monochrome: The Animation.

Just a refresher, the following shot is the prototype of normal, white version of Nendoroid Miss Monochrome, seen at Winter WonFes 2014.
