Mikatan promised that there will be further info regarding Nendoroid Gumako on mid-May … and now here she is! Officially dubbed Nendoroid Gumako: Support version, this cute Nendoroid rendetion of Good Smile Company mascot is actually a part of “Cheerful JAPAN!” initiative to raise donation money for restoring the damaged area due to March’s earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan.
Mikatan has just posted a blog article about yesterday’s Good Smile Company 10th Anniversary Party, and there are some info revealed for Nendoroid Gumako and Nendoroid Ikaros. First up, Nendoroid Gumako is part of “Cheerful Japan” project, and the Gusuma seijin (alien) would be included inside the package as well. Further info about this cute Nendoroid would be available in mid-May. (at least one of her other expressions has been revealed)
Mikatan also mentioned that Nendoroid Ikaros would bring two additional face plates – that make it a total of three expressions that would be included in Ikaros’ package, if you sum up the attached face plate. Further details would be revealed soon.
Well, what do you think, Nendonesian? ^^

It is just a few days ago when we saw a glimpse of Nendoroid Ikaros prototype from Sora no Otoshimono in the latest magazine scan, and now GSC has displayed her, completely-painted, in the GSC’s 10th Anniversary Party. Her clothing and angel wings looks very detailed, and her gradient-colored hair is looking great as well. She would be available for 3500 Yen and scheduled for September 2011 release. I guess her pre-order would be available anytime soon. ^^
UPDATE: More pics of Nendoroid Gumako … her second expression/faceplate is revealed!
Panty and Stocking-theme at Good Smile Cafe has been around since January 12, and it is ending today, April 3. For the next theme, it has been announced that the cafe will be turned into a Nendoroid Cafe starting April 5. Whoa … will there be a new Nendoroid announcement there? Kawashima Minami? Kaname Madoka? … or might there be a couple of brand-fresh-new Nendoroid making a debut there? Well, I guess Mikatan would surely give us further details at her blog tomorrow. ^^
We are lacking of Nendoroid-related news recently, so I decided to put up some miscellaneous posts to lighten things up here. ^^
OK, we will have a brief article regarding Gumako and her Nendoroid rendition here. Actually, Gumako is a representation of GSC mascot. I don’t know much about her background either, but I heard that she is drawn by one of (ex?) GSC staff, Asanon back then. Gumako is portrayed as a teenage girl with short, orange-colored hair, wearing a white-orange themed dress and twin-tailed cap. ^^
Tomorrow, we will (obviously) see a lot of new Nendoroid at GSC’s WonFes booth. I am pretty sure that it would be a really exciting Sunday … but let’s have a brief moment to take a look back at some yet-to-be-announced Nendoroid from last year’s Wonder Festival – both winter and summer.
Here they are. ^^
UPDATE: The glossy haired Hachune Miku is actually a Chogokin Hachune Miku. (Thanks for the correction, Yunamon! ^^)
Anyway, there is a another pic of Mikumix and new pic of Nendoroid Gumako – see it at the end of the post. ^^
