There are many ways to display our Nendoroid, such as putting them inside a case storage or displaying them floating mid-air.
Well, now we have an official alternative by GSC in the form of Nendoroid More: Suction Stands. As the product name suggests, it allows us to display our Nendoroid on walls, doors, monitors – you name it. XD
Here is the product description:
More fun ways to display your Nendoroids!
These new suction stands bring Nendoroid fans a brand new way of displaying their favorite characters! Simply stick the suction cup onto a window or wall, and you can display your Nendoroids in places you never even considered using before!
The arm attached to the suction cup is articulated, allowing you to move it in any direction so that you can place the Nendoroids exactly where you want them! Each stand comes with joints for both Nendoroids and Nendoroid Petites, so you can display any of your favorite characters from either series!
This product was developed by this year’s new employees at Good Smile Company.
There are three different colors to choose: white, pink, and (green) mint. The suction stand is priced at 500 Yen each, and it will also include both regular Nendoroid and Petites stands.
Well, what do you think about it, Nendonesian? ^^
GSC goes to AFAID 2012
I guess most of you who are going to attend AFAID 2012 should have known about this.
Yep, it seems that GSC will be coming to the first AFA in Indonesia on September 1-2. Here is a statement from AFA’s official Facebook page:
Good Smile Company the worldwide leader in Japanese hobby products and service including the design, manufacture and marketing of Japanese character figures will be coming to AFA Indonesia 2012 this September 1-2 at JI EXPO PRJ Hall A! Please look out for them at AFA ID!
I assume that GSC will bring along their WonFes exclusive products, Cheerful products, and some re-releases.
So … are your wallet ready, Nendonesian? What do you think about this news? ^^

AFAID 2012 and GSC
A few hours ago, the following question was asked in Good Smile Company’s English Facebook page:
We have a question to the Indonesians lives in the Indonesia.
“Where did you buy our figures at the real shop?”
Because we will go to AFA Indonesia, then we want to go the real shops for marketing. Please let me know 🙂
Obviously, this question has sparked a speculation that GSC will be opening a booth in AFA Indonesia 2012, similar to AFA (Singapore) and AFA Malaysia.
What do you think about it, Nendonesian? XD
Anyway, if you are interested to submit your answer(s) kindly go to the source page below. Oh, and please do not choose “Klinik Tong Fang” as your answer(s) there. It is obviously a prank. (-_-“)
Update: Tatsuya has just asked Takanori Aki (President of GSC) about this matter via Twitter, and here is his answer:
A simple “YES” is convincing enough to confirm that GSC is indeed coming to AFAID 2012, don’t you think so? XD
Note: Our donation amount has reached around 40 percent of the minimum amount needed to rent a showcase booth in AFAID 2012.
Thank you for your donation, Nendonesian! 60 percent to go! XD
Various Nendoroid for sale at a figure store
Note: The topic is originally asked by Lexis from nendOtaku, a Germany-based Nendoroid blog.
If you have been collecting Nendoroid for a while, then you might have noticed that some Nendoroid boxes have another logo(s) beside Good Smile Company (GSC). They can be Max Factory, Phat Company, FREEing, or any other companies’ logo. So … who are they? Isn’t GSC the only one who make Nendoroid?
Well, in order to answer that questions, I am going to write about the parties involved for a Nendoroid release. Note that the explanation is based on my own, personal view. Therefore, it might be inaccurate in some ways or the other, but it should, hopefully, give you a bit of insight into the matter. ^^
Are you ready? Let’s get started! XD
English version of the website
When Mikatan announced about Nendoroid Official Site‘s revamp, she also mentioned that the English version of the website would be launched soon. Well, apparently, the time is now, as the English website has been launched today.
Curious to see what’s new there? Kindly go directly to the website and tell us how you think about it in the comment, okay? XD

Spice and Wolf‘s Holo gets the top spot, while Steins;Gate‘s Rintarou Okabe claims the runner-up and Another‘s Misaki Mei grabs the third place.
Anyway, it seems that I am not the only one who requested for Kinomoto Sakura from Card Captor Sakura to be made into Nendoroid. Yatta! ^^
Vocaloid‘s Akita Neru and UTAU‘s Kasane Teto also made their way into the list, as well as Fate/Zero‘s Matou Kariya and …. Lancer!? XD
Well, what do you think about this potential list of upcoming Nendoroid releases?
(Thanks for the news tip, Tio Satrio!)
GSC's 10th Anniversary
GSC will reach its 11th anniversary on May, so they are going to end their 10th anniversary celebration with a unique project: Re-sale and New Product Request.
Yep, GSC is asking your opinion about which product they should put on re-sale and what character you would like them to be made into a product.
How does it work?
