Special Website to Celebrate Nendoroid no.300 is Open

Nendoroid series

Nendoroid Gumako‘s #200 numbering was just given away last year, and here we are now looking toward Nendoroid #300. Time sure flies away quickly, huh? XD

Anyway, it seems that GSC is going to celebrate this milestone and throw a “party” to reveal what character will be given the honor to be GSC’s 300th Nendoroid.

Here is the special microsite made specifically for this occassion: http://nendoroid300.goodsmile.info

Currently, the most interesting stuff is the Nendoroid Quiz section, which test our knowledge about Nendoroid. The “practice” quiz is already available now, providing you with 5 random questions with 3 answer options. I Google-Translated the quiz page to challenge it earlier.

Visit this page: http://nendoroid300.goodsmile.info/quiz_top.html if you are interested to test your knowledge on Nendoroid. XD

Anyway, what is your guess about who is going to be Nendoroid #300, Nendonesian?

(Thanks for the news tip, Kendric Koh!)

Nendoroid More: Clip Stands – Another New Way to Display Nendoroid

Nendoroid More: Clip Stands

Not keen on displaying your Nendoroid with the new suction stands? Well, here is another alternative by GSC: Nendoroid More: Clip Stands.

As its name suggests, the stand’s main feature is the clip, which can be easily attached on the edge of your laptop’s display or any other places.

Here is the product description:

More fun ways to display your Nendoroids!
These new clip stands bring Nendoroid fans a brand new way of displaying their favorite characters! The clip can be easily attached to the frame of your cabinet or the edge of your laptop, allowing you to display your Nendoroids in places you never even considered using before!

The arm attached to the clip is articulated, allowing you to move it in any direction so that you can place the Nendoroids exactly where you want them! Each stand comes with joints for both Nendoroids and Nendoroid Petites, so you can display any of your favorite characters from either series!

This product was developed by this year’s new employees at Good Smile Company.

Similar to the suction stand, the clip stand also has three color options: white, pink, and (green) mint. The stand is priced at 500 Yen each, and it will also include both regular Nendoroid and Petites stands.

Well, now we have an official alternative by GSC in the form of Nendoroid More: Suction Stands. As the product name suggests, it allows us to display our Nendoroid on walls, doors, monitors – you name it. XD

GSC is Coming to AFAID 2012? (Update: Confirmed by Takanori Aki)

AFAID 2012 and GSC

AFAID 2012 and GSC

A few hours ago, the following question was asked in Good Smile Company’s English Facebook page:

We have a question to the Indonesians lives in the Indonesia.
“Where did you buy our figures at the real shop?”
Because we will go to AFA Indonesia, then we want to go the real shops for marketing. Please let me know 🙂

Obviously, this question has sparked a speculation that GSC will be opening a booth in AFA Indonesia 2012, similar to AFA (Singapore) and AFA Malaysia.

What do you think about it, Nendonesian? XD

Anyway, if you are interested to submit your answer(s) kindly go to the source page below. Oh, and please do not chooseKlinik Tong Fang” as your answer(s) there. It is obviously a prank. (-_-“)

Update: Tatsuya has just asked Takanori Aki (President of GSC) about this matter via Twitter, and here is his answer:

A simple “YES” is convincing enough to confirm that GSC is indeed coming to AFAID 2012, don’t you think so? XD

Note: Our donation amount has reached around 40 percent of the minimum amount needed to rent a showcase booth in AFAID 2012.
Thank you for your donation, Nendonesian! 60 percent to go! XD
