Yep, we are having triple Nendoroid releases today, courtesy of both GSC and Phat Company.
GSC has released Nendoroid Yuzurizaki Nero (Tantei Opera Milky Holmes), while Phat Company got two Nendoroid to release today, i.e: Nendoroid Niizuma Eiji (Bakuman) and Nendoroid Sanada Yukimura (Sengoku BASARA).
Phat Company has just posted a photo of Nendoroid Niizuma Eiji (Bakuman) and Nendoroid Sanada Yukimura (Sengoku BASARA) in their respective boxes. Yes, we have already seen Yukimura’s box a few days ago, but this is the first time we have seen Eiji’s packaging.
Before we get into the news – which are no longer news IMHO XD – I would like to apologize for the lack of updates for the past week. I had been really busy with my works recently and barely had time to simply read Nendoroid-related news myself. Therefore, I would like to thank you all who has posted the news, either via Nendonesia’s Facebook page or Twitter.
Well then, here is the first news round-up for today. XD
Well, what do we have here? Some prototypes and design of upcoming Nendoroid are being shown today at the Comiket 81. First, we got Nendoroid Takakura Himari Princess of the Crystal from the famous anime series Mawaru Penguindrum – I have been expecting it for a while XD I am glad that GSC choose this over Takakura Himari on her normal outfit. ^^ *adding her into my watchlist*
It looks like Phat Company will be making another Nendoroid from manga/anime series Bakuman. Yep, according to the latest chapter of Bakuman manga (chapter 159, page 3), Nendoroid Azuki Miho –Mashiro Moritaka‘s fiancée- will be made into Nendoroid as well, following Nendoroid Niizuma Eiji who has been available for pre-order since a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately, there are neither prototype photos nor release info for this Nendoroid. Hopefully we will hear more about her soon. ^^
(Thanks to Nozila Saigo and Brassica for the news tip!)
Yes, although Nendoroid Niizuma Eiji from Bakuman has been available for pre-order since last week, we have not seen any previews of him at all. I mean, he just popped out of nowhere, and other than the announcement from the latest chapter of Bakuman manga, we knew next to nothing about this Nendoroid.
Well, not anymore, as Phat Company has posted a quick preview of the said Nendoroid. Yep, Nendoroid Niizuma Eiji are displayed together with the other Nendoroid from Bakuman, as well as trying the parts and accessories. If you are interested, kindly take a peek of the pics at Phat Company’s blog. ^^
Yep, Phat Company has just posted official announcement regarding Bakuman‘s Nendoroid Niizuma Eiji in a blog post earlier. A bit late to the party, but it wouldn’t hurt to see an official post from the manufacturer, right? ^^
Anyway, Phat Company also posted about their upcoming Nendoroid PetitMini Ika-musume (trading) figures there. Yep, apparently the set we saw previously was not a Nendoroid Petit set after all (as guessed by Dorothee XD)
Anyway, kindly visit Phat Company’s blog to see their official announcement (in Japanese). ^^
It’s official: Phat Company‘s Nendoroid Niizuma Eiji from Bakuman is now up on GSC’s official website – and it means that he has been available for reservation starting today. Here is the description from the official page:
The genius high-school manga artist!
From the popular anime about two young school boys who want to become manga artists, ‘Bakuman’, comes a Nendoroid of Saiko and Akito’s biggest rival, Eiji Nizuma!
You can recreate all sorts of famous scenes from the series, including his trademark pose, his pose holding six different writing tools or even the pose of him standing on one leg. He also comes with a feather pen and a sketchbook as extra items to recreate even more of your favorite scenes!
He is scheduled for April 2012 release with the standard price tag of 3500 Yen. ^^
Yes, Amazon Japan has added Bakuman‘s Nendoroid Niizuma Eiji into their store earlier. Although the item is not yet available for pre-order, at least we know this Nendoroid will be available for reservation shortly. This Nendoroid is dated for late April 2011 release, without any pricing info yet.
