Nendoroid Hatsune Miku 2.0 Sample Review by Mikatan

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku 2.0

The 300th Nendoroid – Nendoroid Hatsune Miku 2.0 is scheduled to be start shipping next week, so as usual, Mikatan has received the production sample and decided to review the milestone Nendoroid.

The cute sitting pose

Oh my goodness!!! It’s too cute!!!! ╭(° ロ °”)╯

The new faceplate system

The new, post-300th faceplate system will allow us to change Nendoroid’s faceplate without ruining the pose. The lower half of the faceplate (the one that is connected to the neck joint) will be separated from the rest of the faceplate. It seems like a pretty clever idea to minimize the risk of breaking our Nendoroids’ neck joints – a common problem that has been plaguing most Nendoroid collectors.

One of the main concern regarding the new faceplate system is about its backward compatibility, and Mikatan confirmed that it is backward-compatible. Yay! \(≧∇≦)/

Switching faceplates

Old and new Miku swapping faceplates!

The inner cardboard box can be used as a diorama (taken from Miku’s room in the 3DS game Project Mirai) and it also features special fold lines that allow you to pop out a bed and shelves in the room. Cool! (*°∀°)=3

There are a few more tweaks in the #300 Nendoroid, so kindly visit Mikatan’s blog for further details about this lovely re-boot of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku. ‎( ◕ ‿‿ ◕ )
