Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version Announced

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Cheering version

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Cheering version

UPDATE: “Cheering version” has been changed to “Support version” to reflect on Mikatan’s English blog post

Mikatan has just posted an announcement regarding a special version of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku, made to support/cheer the victim of recent tsunami-earthquake disaster in Japan. Yes, GSC has teamed up with Crypton to create Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version, in which part of its sales would be donated to the Red Cross.

Aside from the parts of the original one, Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version would have a few new accessories (pom pom and a note-flag) to play with, as well as a happy smile expression. It looks like she is saying “Ganbatte ne, minna-san! You are not alone!”. ^^

It has also been confirmed that the Nendoroid to be bundled with the game is Nendoroid Plus Meruru Charm. Yes, it is indeed the same size as Nendoroid Plus Hatsune Miku: Spring version (a.k.a Sakura Miku), if you recalled. ^^

Nendoroid Kawashima Minami, Kousaka Tamaki, and Yuzuhara Konomi

While we have already covered Nendoroid Kousaka Tamaki and Yuzuhara Konomi (Dragon Chronicles version) several times, it is the first time that we see more photos on Nendoroid Kawashima Minami from the anime/manga series Moshidora. Apparently, she would bring along three expressions, her school bag, a small notebook, and a bat. The adorable baseball club manager is scheduled for July 2011 release with a price tag of 3500 Yen. Expect her pre-order (and Mikatan’s preview) to be available soon. ^^

Nendoroid Meruru – Next After Totori?

Meruru, heroine of Atelier Meruru

Meruru, heroine of Atelier Meruru

When I first saw Nendoroid Totori announced in the latest Winter Wonder Festival, and then the pre-order become available last month, IMHO Nendoroid Totori is too good for a standard release – she should be bundled with something. However, since the PS3 game Atelier Totori has been released, then it is impossible to bundle Totori with her game.

…. and now I just realized that GSC (and Gust) indeed has something in their sleeves: Atelier Meruru – which is going to have a limited edition with Nendoroid Meruru bundled! ヽ(*゚д゚)ノ

Nendoroid Tio Plato (left) and Elie MacDowell (right)

Whoa … so there is another character to get a Nendoroid rendetion from Legend of Heroes (Eiyuu Densetsu) series? Well, A prototype pic of Nendoroid Tio Plato and Nendoroid Elie MacDowell from Nihon Falcom’s recently announced PSP game, Eiyuu Densetsu: Ao No Kiseki has surfaced in a Japanese game magazine. The PSP game is a sequel to Eiyuu Densetsu: Zero no Kiseki, which has been released on September last year.

So … who is Tio and Elie? Well, I cannot say for sure, because I have not played the game yet, but I do know that Tio is a magician and Elie is a gunner of some sort. They first appeared in Zero no Kiseki, and then Nihon Falcom confirmed their appearances in the recently announced Ao No Kiseki.

Anyway, artwork pics of Tio and Elie can be seen after the break. ^^

Nendoroid Gumako

Nendoroid Gumako

Nendoroid Gumako

We are lacking of Nendoroid-related news recently, so I decided to put up some miscellaneous posts to lighten things up here. ^^

OK, we will have a brief article regarding Gumako and her Nendoroid rendition here. Actually, Gumako is a representation of GSC mascot. I don’t know much about her background either, but I heard that she is drawn by one of (ex?) GSC staff, Asanon back then. Gumako is portrayed as a teenage girl with short, orange-colored hair, wearing a white-orange themed dress and twin-tailed cap. ^^
