Note: I was supposed to post a review of Nendoroid Dead Master, but I can no longer hold the urge to write a review on this cute Nendoroid, so I decided to put this review up first. I apologize for the confusion. ^^;
Yay! The Nendoroid rendetion of popular tsundere imouto Kousaka Kirino is finally here for review session! Nendoroid Kousaka Kirino was released at the end of last month. You have gotten her? Good, because since then, she has become increasingly difficult to find in the market. I guess GSC’s production capacity simply could not meet the demand of Nendoroid fans for the cute little sister. ^^;
In any case, go past the break to get into the review of Nendoroid Kousaka Kirino. ^^
So … who is Kousaka Kirino anyway? She is the younger sister of the main protagonist of Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (a.k.a OreImo) named Kousaka Kyosuke. People see her as a perfect model of an honor student by achieving above average marks in academic and excelling in athletics as well. However, Kirino’s relationship with Kyosuke is not going well because of their differences in achievement that creates some “barrier” between her and her brother. Her attitude towards Kyosuke was really cold and tsundere-like, but it changed after Kyosuke found out about her hidden “otaku” life.
Kirino has quite an affection to a manga/anime/game series Hoshikuzu Witch Meruru. Aside from it, she also has a collection of adult lolicon (little sister complex) games as well. These unique habits of her seems to come from her own feeling toward Kyosuke (brother complex), although she appears to deny it and turned to the lolicon games as a solution. ^^
*Phew* What a rather lengthy introduction we have there! Well then, let’s begin the review of Nendoroid Kousaka Kirino by giving a glimpse of the box.
IMHO, there is nothing special in the box, other than the OreImo-themed design. Let’s move to the parts and accessories listing.
Here is the complete listing of Kirino’s parts and accessories:
- 3 face plates (one attached)
- 5 right arms (one attached)
- 4 left arms (one attached)
- A paper bag
- A cellphone
- A DVD-case
- A BD-case
- A set of stickers for paper bag and disc cases
- A part listing sheet
- A stand base
Here is the part listing sheet:
So … what is so special about the parts and accessories included in the package? IMHO, I am really impressed with the stickers. Yep, they are amazingly detailed that makes them resemble the normal-sized counterparts.
Pardon the blurriness on the pics, because I tried to focus on those little stickers and my camera lens is seemingly not powerful enough. Oh and did I mentioned that you get a Blu-ray BRS sticker as well? ^^
OK … now, let’s take a look at Kirino’s default poses (as shown on the box).
Whoa …. isn’t she super cute? Either her normal smiling face, her tsundere expression, or the “satisfied” one (which is Kirino’s most epic face IMO) – they are all equally adorable. ^^
Well then, now let’s see how she spend her time with her new Nendoroid colleagues. ^^
So … is she worth to get? By all means, YES! IMHO the stickers and especially her epic face are simply irresistable! If you still have the chance to grab her, then you should do so. ^^
Well then, that’s about all of my review on this adorable tsundere little sister. As always, comments and critics are welcome. ^^
Oh … and I got one more pic to show you – take it as a bonus pic. ^^
See you on my next review, Nendonesian! ^^
