It might be a little weird, but I actually had Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat version (released at WonFes on early February) arrived on my desk and I am still waiting for the normal Nendoroid Makise Kurisu (released on late January). Well, that is not a problem for me though, because both version of Makise Kurisu are equally cute. ^^
Anyway, let’s have a brief introduction for Makise Kurisu. She is the main heroine of Steins;Gate, a visual novel game released for Xbox 360 (2009) and PC (2010). She is an extremely talented neuroscience researcher and it is proved with her being able to have her research published in the science academic journal at the young age of 18. Whoa … she is really smart, isn’t she? Plus, she is actually a tsundere as well … what a perfect combination! ^^
Well then, without further ado, let’s get on the actual review of Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat version. ^^
Hey, why does it says “Hakui version” at the box? Well, I am not too fluent in Japanese language, but I guess it means “White Coat version“. ^^
Anyway, let’s see the content of this box.
Here is the complete listing of Kurisu’s optional body parts and accessories:
- 5 right arms (one attached, one intended for normal Nendoroid Makise Kurisu)
- 5 left arms (one attached, one intended for normal Nendoroid Makise Kurisu)
- 3 right palms (one attached, one intended for normal Nendoroid Makise Kurisu)
- 3 left palms (one attached, one intended for normal Nendoroid Makise Kurisu)
- 3 face plates (one attached)
- An optional side hair (explained below)
- A stand base
- A quick start guide
Wha-? A quick-start guidel? Yep, GSC rarely includes a guide, but they decided to include one in this package.
So … what is this “optional side hair” I mentioned above? It is actually used to replace her default side hair so that she is able to stretch her arms to the left and right (needed for some poses). Here is how the side hairs looks like.
Anyway, here is how her default pose looks like. ^^
Ah … isn’t she really adorable? I really like all of her pose and expressions – her eyes and smiles are simply too cute! ヽ(*゚д゚)ノ
*ahem* Anyway, similar to my treatments to the other Nendoroid, Kurisu-chan will also undergo a brief “orientation” session with her fellow Nendoroid friend. Let’s see how well she is doing. ^^
Wha-!? Kurisu-chan had encountered her first “challenge” already!? ヽ(*゚д゚)ノKurisu-chan, let me handle the magazine. Hand it over to me and escape for now!
What the-!? O-okay … I understand … please calm down. H-here’s the magazine … ( ╥ ﹏╥)
Makise Kurisu: “B-B-BRS-chan got your magazine in her possession. Sorry, Yui-chan …” TT__TT
Hirasawa Yui: “Wha-!?” ( *゚д゚ )
Well … it looks like Yui would not be able to retrieve her magazine back for a while. Sorry about that Kurisu-chan and Yui-chan … ( ╥ ﹏╥)
Whoaa … it looks like Makise Kurisu and Megurine Luka decided to try each other’s outfit. Both Kurisu in Luka’s dress and Luka in Kurisu’s white lab coat looks really stunning! Kurisu looks beautiful as a singer, while Luka looks gorgeous as a professor. ヽ(´▽`)/
Aaargh … Kurisu’s charm really shines in Luka’s outfit! What do you think, Nendonesian? ( ̄▽ ̄)/
So … does Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat version worth to be purchased? Well, personally, I would recommend her because of her beauty expression. IMHO, she looks beautiful either as a lady or a girl, and she is compatible enough to be swapped with other Nendoroid’s body and expression. If you get a chance (and fund) to get her, then you should grab her. ^^
Well then, I think that’s all about Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat version. Comments, questions, or any stuff related to this review are welcome.
See you again in my next review, Nendones- … what’s next on the review, you ask? Here’s a hint. ^^
LOL … that’s not a hint, since it’s pretty obvious. ^^;
In any case … see you again in my next review, Nendonesian! ^^
I know! The next one will be nendoroid Dead Master!
I’m such a genius, aren’t I? :9
oh and, the quick guide was also included in Miku HMO and Mickey! Not sure if it’s included Snow Miku, and I don’t remember if it’s included in Flandre ^^;

Yes, I do remember some Nendoroid packages include a quick start guide as well. ^^
