Nendoroid Sherlock Shellingford (Sharo) with the PSP game of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes boxset has finally arrived on my desk. I have not opened the boxset yet because I am still busy with some stuff, i.e the New Year celebration party. ^^

Anyway, I will try to write up an in-depth review on this cute Nendoroid as soon as I have some spare time – probably next week. So how about yours, Nendonesian? Have you received your Sharo-chan and played with her yet?

I know you have been waiting for this one, especially when GSC decided to delay its release from December 2010 to January 2011. Yep, now you know how Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition‘s box looks like. Apparently, the box is not using a black background color like the other Nendoroid from Vocaloid, although it sure keeps the white grids. ^^

What do you think, Nendonesian? Do you like the box design?

Nendoroid Sherlock Shellingford

A closer pic of the uncolored Nendoroid Sherlock Shellingford (Sharo/Syaro) TV Animation version from Tantei Opera Milky Holmes brings us to compare it against its PSP bundle counterpart. Well, according to my own perspective, here are some differences that I noticed on the animation version:

  • New face/expression drawing style
  • Shorter hair
  • Larger attached ribbon on the hat
  • Chubbier body
  • No magnifier – probably included as accessories
  • Shoes/boots design is slightly different
  • The pricing (obviously! ^^)

So how do you compare both of them, Nendonesian? Any other things that I missed?

Wonder Festival 2011 Winter Photo Contest

Just in sync with Nendonesia’s first photo contest, GSC and MF is also holding a photo contest to celebrate the upcoming Wonder Festival 2011 Winter. ^^

Here are the prizes:

  1. Grand winner: Special MacBook Air
  2. Gold winner: PlayStation 3 Slim and Black Rock Shooter Blu-ray + DVD set
  3. Silver winner: NERF (some kind of toy weaponry that shoots foam balls)
  4. Special jury prize: TBA
  5. Best 200 entries prize: Special Photo Book
  6. Participation prize: Special WonFes base (di:stage skin?)

  • Applicable figurine entries: Nendoroid, Nendoroid Petit, figma, and scaled figure made by Good Smile Company or Max Factory
  • Entry submission is limited to one per person
  • Image file size should not exceed 3MB
  • All entries will be published via TwitPic

Photo submission starts on December 27, 2010 (that’s 3 days ago)until January 14, 2011. More information is available in the GSC and MF’s official WonFes 13 site (the site is entirely in Japanese though ^^;).

Unpainted Nendoroid Anarchy Stocking

Fresh from Gainax live commentary Ustream: Nendoroid from Panty and Stockings with Garterbelt are already in schedule. The broadcast only showed a glimpse of uncolored Nendoroid Anarchy Stocking though – not to mention that it is not a close up shot, so we could not get a more-detailed view on her. Nevertheless, I cannot wait to see how the final version would turn out later. (… and I have not watched the anime yet ^^)
