Well, what do we have here? Just in time for Kaito-kun reissue celebration, here is a review of Nendoroid 93: Megurine Luka. Being one of Vocaloid 2 characters, Luka-chan is just as cute as Miku, Rin, and Len, isn’t she? OK, let’s see what she brings along with her inside the box.

Without further ado, let’s take a peek into her box.

Luka-chan's parts and accessories

Here’s the parts listing:

  • 3 face plates (1 attached)
  • 3 right hands (1 attached)
  • 2 left hands (1 attached)
  • 2 right legs (1 attached)
  • a left leg (attached)
  • a Tako-Luka

Well … the number of parts sure is not as many as other Nendoroids, generally. But, she comes with an interesting addon here: the Tako-Luka!

Tako-Luka’s size is about the same as Nendoroid Puchi’s, and what’s more … it’s detachable! Yes, you can attach it to other Puchis as well as cross-change its face (hint, hint). ^^;

OK, let’s see how Luka-chan poses against the camera.

You look adorable on that face, Luka-chan ... ^^

Verdict

It’s true that Luka-chan doesn’t come up with as many accessories as generally other Nendoroids. However, she does come with Tako-Luka, which is kinda unique, because it fits nicely with Puchis’ parts. For Voca-Nendo collectors, Luka-chan is obviously a must-have. For the rest of you … well, it’s your call: are adorable Luka-chan and Tako-Luka worth the price tag? ^^

Anyway, here’s some bonus photos:

Tako-Luka is invading Puchi-Luka’s body!

Luka is shocked, Puchi-Tako-Luka to blame?

Ain't she cute? ^^

Looks like Tako-Luka feels comfortable in that body, so Puchi-Luka won’t have her body back for a while … ^^;

    Thanks! I found out it when I saw a hole beneath Tako-Luka's face plate. I thought “hey, maybe she's detachable …” and it turned out to be true. ^^;Then I try to plug her into some Puchis and it fits in nicely. ^^
