I missed this one last week, but anyway, this should be a good news for any Misaka (and Tamiya) fans. Yep, Nendoroid Petite x Mini 4WD: Mikoto Misaka drives Thunder Shot Special has been available for pre-order since February 22.
A certain Misaka’s four-wheel-drive car!
Tamiya’s Mini 4WD model car series has just celebrated its 30th anniversary and is now working in collaboration with the Nendoroid Petite series to create a joint product that will be produced by Dengeki Hobby Magazine! The third character to join the series is Mikoto Misaka from ‘Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S’!
Using specially developed parts, the Nendoroid Petite figures can easily jump into the Mini 4WD models and drive around! Each car is specially designed to suit the image and colors of the character that the car is designed for, and the figure mount is a cleverly designed battery holder! A set of stickers is also included with the Mini 4WD to add even more flair to their ride!
Note: This news is a week old, but I guess it is better to post it late rather than never, right? XD
In order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tamiya’s 4WD, GSC has teamed up with Tamiya and Dengeki Hobby Magazine to create a special joint product known as Nendoroid Petit x Mini 4WD. The collaboration project was announced at 51st Shizuoka Hobby Show (May 17th – 18th).
The announced line-ups are:

Yep, as you can see in the pic above, the announced Nendoroid Petits will be riding their own special mini 4WD as mentioned in the list.
It seems that several folks have already got their hands on Nendoroid Petit from Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, as shown in above photo where Nendoroid Petit Misaka -and Nendoroid Petit Index from Nendoroid Petit Cross of Venus set- in their action pose. I heard that these Petits are available as Sega prize – I have no idea about what that means though. Anyway, here is how the box looks like:

Well, what do you think, Nendonesian? Planning to get these cute Petit from Toaru Kagaku no Railgun? ^^
After showing some Petits in the last Prize Fair, Sega shown another Nendoroid Petits prototypes in the 22nd Prize Fair which was held on November 11, 2011 at TOC. There are two Petit sets being shown there, but I could only recognize one set, that is, Nendoroid Petit Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Set 2, which I have posted several days ago. The other Petit set can be seen after the break.
UPDATE: The second Petit set turned out to be Nendoroid Petit Baka to Test to Shōkanjū Set 2. (Thanks for the tip, Yakumo! ^^)
I know – we are yet to see the colored first set, and now the second set’s design has been floating in the net. Yep, according to this magazine scan, Nendoroid Petit Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Set 2 is currently in the making. Well, I am not particularly familiar with the characters though, since I have not watched the anime yet. ^^
A joint event of 48th Amusement Machine Show and 21st Prize Fair is being held at Japan, and GSC decided to take part on the show. They are showing some fresh uncolored Nendoroid Petits from Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, Baka to Test to Shokanju, and Hayate no Gotoku. Here’s some of their photos, courtesy of Hobby Stock.
